ㅤMIXXTOPIA에 도착하기 직전, NMIXX는 ‘Blue Valentine Stage’에 들어선다. 그곳은 이전의 모든 여정이 무너져 내렸던 장소였다.
ㅤ여섯 소녀는 점점 깨닫게 된다. 이곳이 처음이 아니라는 사실을… 그리고 이것이 이미 N번째 반복이라는 것을. 매번 그들은 바로 이 순간에 무너져 내렸었다.
ㅤMMU 안에서 의견은 두 갈래로 나뉘기 시작한다. “모든 것이 다시 무너지기 전에 멈춰야 할까, 아니면 위험을 감수하고 계속 앞으로 나아가야 할까?”
ㅤ감정이 폭발 직전까지 치닫는 순간, MMU를 움직이는 에너지인 각자의 IMPETUS가 서로 충돌하고 거세게 소용돌이치며 거대한 불꽃을 만들어낸다. 그리고 결국, 기계는 폭발한다.
ㅤ그 순간 소녀들은 사랑에 대한 쓰라린 진실과 마주하게 된다. “사랑은 언제나 양면성을 지니고 있다. 서로 사랑하는 사람들은 서로를 따뜻하게 안아줄 수도 있지만, 동시에 상처 입힐 수도 있다.”
ㅤ사랑하기에 서로를 아프게 하고, 또 사랑하기에 계속 상처받는다. 끝없이 반복되는 것처럼.

ㅤ타이틀곡 「Blue Valentine」은 역동적으로 변화하는 리듬과 감성적인 “blue” 무드 속 중독성 강한 chorus가 돋보이는 pop 곡이다. 쓸쓸한 분위기의 synth 사운드와 guitar riff가 곡을 이끌어가며, 느려졌다 빨라졌다를 반복하는 boom bap 리듬이 교차해 깊이감을 더한다.
